If you are like me, breakfast is the most missed meal of the day. Finally, I came up with a recipe for the "grab and go" kind of people. This recipe takes under 5 minutes, throw it in the fridge, and you are done! --- Easy + Healthy = DELICIOUS :)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup of steel cut oatmeal
1 tablespoon of peanut butter or almond butter
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of milled ground flax seeds
1/2 cup of fruit of your choice ( I usually use a couple strawberries or a half of a banana).
Combine almond milk, steel cut oats, peanut butter or almond butter, chia seeds, and flax seeds together in a mason jar (with a lid). Place mason jar in the fridge overnight, or for at least 8 hours. Before serving, top with fruit and enjoy!!
